How to get from airport to venue, Copenhagen, Denmark

The easiest way is by train and then walk for 500 m from the main station in Copenhagen to the venue (30 min).

The most scenic route is the taking the Metro, change to train for one station and walk 300 m from station (45 min).


Directions:

Train:

Coming out of the arrival terminal walk straight ahead, buy a ticket (3 zones) and take the escalator to the left down stairs.

Take the first train on the platform (track 2) with trains arriving every 12 min in daytime towards Københavns Hovedbanegård (main train station in Copenhagen) or Helsingør st.

Get off at Københavns Hovedbanegård, go to the station building, up the stairs and find the exit on the right towards Tivoli, take a left, and walk 500 m. See map, route green A (exit towards Tivoli, the amusement park, to red B (venue).


Metro:

The Metro runs without driver (automatically), so get in front and see the view from the front window.

Coming out of the arrival terminal walk straight ahead, buy a ticket (3 zones) and continue straight and up the stairs. Take the first Metro on either tracks. Enjoy the trip first over ground and then under in the city center.

Get off at Nørreport station. Take the escalator up one level and find the S-train (still underground). Take any and the first trains from track 4 just one station (2 min).

Get out at Vesterport station, walk towards the station building, up the stairs and out on the street, go right, and walk the 300 m to venue. See map, route green spot in top of the picture to red B (venue).

Taxi:

Taxi’s are fine in Denmark, but quite expensive. The public transportation is well working and a nice choice to and from airport and also getting around in the city center of Copenhagen.

Taxi: around 300-350 kr (46-53 USD/ 40-47 Euro)
